Configuring EMS Import / Export⚓︎
CCC One requires some configuration upon first login, for EMS importing / exporting to function.
Before you begin
Each store a has unique server location, UW-xxxxx, which you will enter below. Submit a ticket - if you have not already done so - to retrieve this information.
From CCC One:
1. Go to Configure > Machine Settings
2. Navigate to File Export. One-by-one:
Select the provided file type from the dropdown (eg. EMS 2.01 Estimate)
Copy the path provided for your store - then double-click the Directory field, and paste the value (eg. \\UW-BX5F8\CCC\EMSOUT)
3. Navigate to File Import. You may need to enable importing ("Enable import of files..."). One-by-one:
Select the provided file type from the dropdown (eg. Part Provider XML)
Copy the path provided for your store - then double-click the Directory field, and paste the value (eg. \\UW-BX5F8\CCC\EMSIN)
4. Navigate to EMS Extract Preferences. Mark the checkboxes under Automatically create an EMS extract when, as follows:
5. Select OK
You're all set. EMS importing and exporting should work as expected.
