Running Windows Update⚓︎

Windows Update is scheduled to run nightly for critical patches, but can also be run manually for optional updates as needed.
1. Click on the Start Menu at the bottom left of your screen, then select Settings .
2. Select Update & Security .
3. Select Check for updates.
4. Let Windows apply the updates, and then reboot when the process is complete.
Important
After the reboot, please repeat this procedure until no more updates are available. Sometimes updates depend on the completion of other updates and a reboot.
