Setting Up Vault

This is assuming you have received your invite and have established your account. If you still need to setup your account, please Request your Inviation.

Installing the Extension⚓︎
Note
The process of adding an extension is mostly the same across all browsers. In this guide, we will be using Chrome.
1. Navigate to one of the following, depending on your browser:
2. Add the Extension
Click the Add to Chrome button. This will initiate the install for the extension.
A window will pop up to inform you of the access Bitwarden will have in the browser.
3. Confirm Access for the Extension
Click Add extension to finalize installation.
A new tab will open for the Bitwarden website.
Setting up the Extension⚓︎
Now that the extension is installed, a quick adjustment will need to be made to be able to sign in.
1. At the top right of your browser, locate the Extensions icon.
2. Open the Bitwarden Extension
In the window, click the Bitwarden extension.
3. Change the Logging in on
In the login window, look for Logging in on: bitwarden.com under the Email Address field.
Click the arrow.
4. Select Self-hosted
When you select self-hosted, a new window will come up with various fields.
5. Input the URL
In the top field labeled Server URL, input the following address:
https://vault.bitstreamapp.com
Then click Save
6. Input Your Credentials
Input your email address and password.
A verification code will be emailed to you

Input the verification code.
7. You're In!
Now you can interact with your vault.

Installing the app⚓︎
1. Navigate to one of the following, depending on your type of phone:
2. Download and install the app.

1. Open the app. Under the email field, tap Logging in on: bitwarden.com
2. On the window that pops up, tap Self-hosted
3. In the new screen, enter the following address in the top field labeled Server URL, input the following address:
https://vault.bitstreamapp.com
Then tap Save
4. Enter your email address and tap Continue
5. Enter your password and then tap Log in with master password
7. You're In!
Now you can access your vault on your phone!
