Stay Alert for Fake RingCentral Voicemail Emails
We’ve seen a new phishing email pretending to be a RingCentral voicemail notification. It looks similar to a real voicemail alert but is actually designed to steal your login credentials.

Here’s how to spot the fake:
- The email comes from an unusual address (not @ringcentral.com).
- There’s no voicemail audio file attached.
- It includes a “Review Voice Mail” or “Listen Now” button that asks you to log in.
- The formatting looks a little off, with odd date/time styles or spacing.
Do not click any links in these messages. If you get one, delete it or report it as phishing.
Legitimate RingCentral voicemail emails always:
- Come from no-reply@ringcentral.com
- Include an audio attachment (.wav or .mp3)
- Do not ask you to log in through a button link
If you’re unsure whether a message is real, forward it to [ security@bitstreamllc.com ] (or your internal security contact) and we’ll confirm.
Thanks for staying alert and helping to protect your accounts.
